Osteoarthritis and your body

The targets of OA

Osteoarthritis affects the joints of the body and occurs most often in the hands, spine, knees and hips, although it may occur in the ankles and wrists as well.

What Areas Does Osteoarthritis Affect

What areas does osteoarthritis affect?

Osteoarthritis most often occurs in the hands (at the ends of the fingers and thumbs), spine (neck and lower back), knees, and hips.

OA can start off with mild aches and stiffness, which can become more persistent and pronounced over time.  Common symptoms of OA include stiffness, swelling, and aches and pain that can affect the way you live your life.

Voltaren® Gel is indicated for the relief of the pain of osteoarthritis of joints amenable to topical treatment, such as the knees and those of the hands. Voltaren Gel has not been evaluated for use on the spine, hip, or shoulder.
